I’m Laura Wood, thank you for visiting my website! I am a portrait and event photographer located in Greenwood, SC. My photography caters to families and small businesses. 

I serve families with newborn, milestones, senior, and family portraiture. I serve businesses with professional headshots, marketing sessions, event, and festival documentation. My goal is to compose authentic portraits that tell your story! 

I value the relationships with my clients and consider it a true blessing to be invited to celebrate monumental moments in others’ lives! 

My background:

My husband Avery and I call Greenwood, South Carolina home! We enjoy playing with our baby girl and watching her experience new things. 

I started photography in middle school at a backyard bible school. Since that day I realized I could use photography to serve others through visual storytelling. 

My business journey began in 2014 through family portraits, documenting events, and second shooting for wedding photographers. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Visual Arts from Lander University in 2016. My art background keeps me focused on detail and composition. I earned my MBA in Digital Marketing and Organizational Leadership 2023. I've worked in higher education marketing and publications for nearly 10 years.
